Ingredients:
1 pack instant yeast
450 gr bread flour
1 tsp salt (reduce it if you want)
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp low fat butter
1 egg
250 ml plain yogurt
60 ml warm water
100 gr parmesan (or any other cheese you prefer)
1/2 tsp bread improver or cake emulsifier
For topping
:
50 ml low fat plain yogurt
20 gr low fat butter
20 gr icing sugar
40 gr all purpose flour
Mix all topping until
well incorporated, then put in a piping bag.
Directions
:
Mix all ingredients
except butter and salt, knead it well then put in the last 2
ingredients.
Knead until it is no
longer sticky, then cover and let it rest for about 1 hour or until it's
double in size.
Punch the dough down,
turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead 4-5 times.
Divide dough about 50
gr each, roll into a rectangle, then roll up jelly roll style, cut the
sides neatly.
Place roll, seam side
down then frost with the topping. Do the same to the rest of the dough.
Let the rolls sit for
about 45 minutes then bake them 180°C for 20-30 minutes or until golden
brown.
Optional : instead of
make the bread as rolls, you can just make it as loaf bread. |
