Probiotics and Pet Health

Administer Probiotics To Ensure Your Pet Health!

Probiotics is what pet and its owner should both consume for their health. Probiotics is the good bacteria in pet and human being’s small intestine. These bacteria are proven to bring more health advantages and cure for several diseases.

But why must we give probiotics to pet?

As pet owner, you might notices that in many occasion such as visiting the vet, new member of family or other pet, being left alone in the house, etc. can distress your pet. When your pet gets stressed, the stress will kill many microorganisms in their gastrointestinal tract. In normal condition, these microorganisms or good bacteria create a natural barrier against bad bacteria or pathogens from growing.

By administering probiotics, pet will be free from several problems that used to follow their stress: diarrhea, vomiting, constipation, bloating or flatulence. Adding probiotics in pet food will provide their intestine a sufficient numbers of good bacteria, and at the end will support their balanced health. You also need to give probiotics to pet who are taking a course of antibiotics, and for two weeks afterwards. Antibiotics kill the bad bacteria, as well as good bacteria. So, probiotics will replace the good bacteria in your pet’s intestine.

A study even revealed that probiotics can help cats recover from kidney disease. The scientists believe that probiotics has increased the cat’s blood value for BUN and creatinine.

Probiotics and pet stress

When pet get stressed, the PH balance will be changed and the nutrient flow will be ceasing. These conditions will kill a large numbers of microorganisms in pet’s intestine, and invite pathogen to go through. Pathogen will steal pet’s nutrients, and as a result, pet will become very sick and sometimes, leads to its death.

At this condition, give probiotics to your pet. Select the best one based on health and stress level of the pet. The best formula is 1:1:1 ratio, which contains of Lactobacillus Casei, Bifidobacterium Thermophilum, and Enterococcus Faecium.

How to administer probiotics to pet diet?

The best method to include probiotics into pet diet is by adding fresh probiotics supplements into pet wet food.

Fortunately most of probiotics supplements are tasteless, so that your pet will not notice any different taste when you mix probiotics with their wet food.

So, always give probiotics to pet, to ensure its health and comfort!
